We are the current UK Commercial Photographers of the Year awarded by the SWPP & BPPA.

Mint are an award-winning professional photography company based in Leeds West Yorkshire. We create images of People, Places and Products. It’s our job to shoot images that make your products, services, or facilities look visually exciting and commercially appealing. We present your company and its brands in the best light possible. Mint operate from our drive-in city centre studio and we are made up from the three of us. Thats Kevin, Duncan and Tracy.

We are a well established and exciting photography company who are really passionate and enthusiastic about our photography.

Our studio, The Mint Studios, is a 1,000sq feet of space which sports a large roller shutter door and includes on-site parking.  We’re able to shoot anything ranging from food and jewelry to large motor vehicles.

Our main core photography is Advertising photography, Fashion photography, Product photography, Press & PR, Editorial, Products, Food, Industrial, Location and Corporate Head and shoulder shots.

Our facilities are equipped with the very latest Canon digital SLR cameras and state of the art lighting systems from Bowens and Elinchrom. This ensures accurate and consistent colour representation of your final images.  We also provide re-touching and enhancement services.

We specialise in brochure and catelogue photography food and drink studio photography, location photography, interior, pubs, bars, restaurant, product photography, fashion photography, product food and drink photography, model portfolio shoots, Press and PR work, aerial photography, long term recording of projects, interiors and architectural imagery, group shots and equestrian.  We also specialise in designer portfolios aviation photography lifestyle photography editorial photography and are experienced photographers who deliver quality pictures.  We also specialise in medical legal medico legal insuance personal injury pack shots product prints cd dvd we also provide Next day, Same day, Quick Turn around, Fast Turn around

For non studio photography, we provide a quality and cost effective location photography service offering both a portable and non-portable studio solution.

Our work is aimed at company’s and businesses who look and use photography to enhance their business and understand the importance of quality professional photography.

With today’s high demand for quality, cost effective and creative imagery we are able to work closely with the client to a given brief whilst incorporating our own visual ideas.  We can work at short notice with the aim of developing long term business relationships.

We continue to be an exceptional source of quality and inspired photography and a source of inspiration to the creative and commercial businesses.

Mint Photography is built up of four key team members and where required use qualified freelance photographers.  We are qualified members of the MPA (master photographers association).

‘Commercial Photographer of the Year’ award for Mint Photography

Hundreds of photographers UK wide battled it out for one the highest accolades in the SWPP & BPPA National Awards.

Leeds-based photographer Kevin Minter wins prestigious national prize

Kevin wins award amongst competition from 600 UK photographers

A Leeds-based commercial photography company has leapt to prominence by winning the Commercial Photographer of the Year contest.

Kevin Minter, who runs Mint Photography beat off competition from more than 600 other entries to win the award, which was sponsored by the British Professional Photographers Associates (SWPP & BPPA).  The prize followed Kevin’s previous win in a year-long series of monthly image competitions.

Kevin specialises in shooting high quality images for use of businesses, design, marketing and advertising agencies who use shots like his, in their work, to save having to create a bespoke photograph. 

His winning entry was a stylish shot of the headlamp cluster of a Porsche 911 Carrera sports car. 

Mint Photography also specialise in studio, still life, press and PR images, and 360° virtual reality photography. 

Kevin comments: “Naturally, I am delighted that Mint Photography has won this prestigious prize, it now feels that all our hard work has been paid off and been nationally recognised by this achievement”

The award of Commercial Photographer of the Year comes as Kevin celebrated the recent expansion of his business.  He says: “We have recently moved to an impressive facility in the centre of Leeds which is capable of meeting the demands of shooting larger commercial photography subjects – including a studio large enough to accommodate vehicles.”
